The majority of eGo-C/T users find that these model e-cigs suit them right out of the box. However, if you are experiencing leaking or wicking issues or just want to know more about tweaking your device, there are a number of tricks you can try....
Leaking Atomisers
This is an irritating issue when it happens, but there are many things you can try to avoid it happening. For all the complaints on forums about it, you'd think it happened to everyone, but in fact, many users never experience it, perhaps because they automatically tend to follow tips 1-5 already.
If you're having this problem, try the following:
Try not to draw too hard on the unit - this can cause over-feeding, use a loooong slow draw
Replace your tank cartridges regularly and treat them with care. Even an invisible crack can allow air to enter the tank, and cause the juice to drain out. Additionally, once the hole becomes bigger after several repeated fills, they can start leaking.
Do not over-fill the tank cartridges - leave a bit of a gap of air to avoid syphoning
Ensure the cap is on the tank firmly, hold it with the mouthpiece pointing down, and invert the e-cig to push the atomiser down on the tank rather than inserting the tank down into the atomiser or even horizontally.
Adding some pure VG to your juice makes it a little thicker and less prone to leakages
Try to keep your e-cig in a coolish place - warm locations can make the problem worse
Try piercing a hole yourself in the replacement silicone cap with a 2-2.5mm needle rather than letting the spike in the atomiser punch the hole
When you vape, push the button just before you start inhaling, not the other way around
If the problem still persists, it's likely that you may want to push the wick in the spike down just a fraction
Some people prefer to actually remove the entire spike plate and reinsert a new wick they make themselves. There are videos showing how to do this on Youtube.
