The Taifun GX RDTA is the first top deck atomiser design from Smokerstore. It allows for the best flavour possible - performing like the Taifun BTD, but with the capacity of a tank. Designed to accommodate all vaping styles, for the absolute maximum versatility.

The Taifun GX features a flavour-focused interchangeable air-flow system, easy-build deck, and includes steel liquid feeder cables to quickly deliver e-liquid from the bottom tank to your coil in the top deck. Building this atomiser is very simple and the coil/wick can be accessed quickly without any mess with a simple twist of the top cap. The air flow is controlled by way of separately available 'air disks', so you can easily switch the air flow to suit your particular style of vaping. Reflling the tank is an innovative design and quite clever with an easy twist of the air flow ring to expose the fill port so you can top up the tank without removal of any parts.

Initially released in the "Classic" fin-based design, this popular RTDA has now been made available in several new-look designs.

Interchangeable air disks (sold separately)

Air flow of the Taifun GX is primarily adjusted via the internal air disks. The Taifun GX includes two air disks, each with three 1.8mm air holes for a total of six 1.8mm air flow holes. This makes the Taifun GX slightly more restrictive than the Taifun GT IV out of the box. The user can use any of the alternative air disks in combination (or none at all) for around 30 possible airflow performance effects.

The Taifun® GX features a modular design, and we've separated the classic build deck from the atomiser base. This not only allows for a "kit-like" configuration but also simplifies everyday use. For example, the build deck can be easily lifted off with the top cap to provide free access to the wicks and replaceable air disks.

The top cap is secured with a bayonet fitting already familiar from the Taifun® GTR. Accidental removal is impossible. The air disks offer a wide range of possibilities and are freely interchangeable. The basic version of the Taifun® GX features two air disks with three 1.8 mm air holes each. This makes the Taifun® GX slightly more restrictive than the Taifun® GTIV. However, the GX can also be used without any air disks at all, making it slightly more open than a GTIV with an open draw kit.

A classic airflow control (AFC) adjustment similar to the GTIV via the outer adjustment ring is very limited, if not impossible.

The Taifun® GX's so-called multi-function ring clicks audibly and noticeably into place at several points and serves to vent the tank. To fill the atomiser, the ring simply needs to be moved to the fill position. Side-fill can be accomplished without removing the top cap.

The Taifun® GX comes pre-equipped with 23 mm long 7x7 stainless steel cables. Any shorter lengths required for stainless steel cables necessitate the use of o-rings to ensure the necessary cable stability. Recesses in the wick guide of the base provide a secure hold for the o-rings. Even when using the included mesh wick, the use of the upper o-rings is recommended.

The tank has been lubricated with VG prior to assembly to reduce the chance of parts sticking together, so you may find some liquid around the o-rings, this is normal and nothing to worry about.
