With the Taifun^® Gaia Boro RBA, SmokerStore once again proves that true perfection isn’t mass-produced - it’s crafted through a clear, uncompromising vision, relentless testing and meticulous attention to detail.

While many systems aim to do everything at once, SmokerStore has taken a more focused path: creating an RBA that excels purely in the MTL (Mouth-To-Lung) arena for a platform that showcases its performance to the fullest. Development took significantly longer than originally planned, but compromising on the vaping experience and usability was not an option. For Smokerstore, not being able to easily access the coil without first emptying the tank and laboriously fiddling with delicate components was a deal-breaker, thus they had to compromise on cross-compatibility. The result is an RBA specifically tailored to their own Boro tanks.

A bespoke solution
The Gaia RBA only fits in the Taifun Gaia Boro tank, and rather than being a drawback, this is actually one of its greatest strengths, and where the true genius of the Gaia lies. The larger bottom hole and the precisely engineered interaction between the tank and base make possible what was once nearly unimaginable in the Boro world - an RBA system that can be removed from the bottom without emptying the tank and that offers automatic liquid control. When the front panel is pushed down, the RBA’s liquid inlet automatically closes - a clever feature that makes everyday handling effortless. For added safety, the liquid control can also be locked manually for transport, keeping things clean, secure, and practical. The tank itself is a SmokerStore in-house development, crafted from Delrin (Stainless steel Boro tank available separately). This approach allowed SmokerStore to achieve the perfect balance of precision fit and functionality for the Gaia. By choosing a dedicated, purpose-built design over “plug-and-play” compatibility, SmokerStore has once again moved the Taifun series a step ahead and we think it was absolutely the right call.

Easy handling
The tank features a larger hole at the bottom, allowing the base to be removed from the bottom at any time, without emptying the tank. Sliding the front panel down automatically closes the liquid control (LC) of the Taifun Gaia Boro RBA. Of course, the base can also be easily screwed onto any mod for coiling and annealing.

Pure MTL - precise air for purer taste
The Taifun Gaia is a pure MTL RBA in which draw behavior, taste and handling are consistently coordinated. Three different air pins (1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, and 1.5 mm) are included in the kit to allow for precise adjustment of the draw resistance. Other sizes, such as 0.8 mm and 1.8 mm, are available separately. The air is directed from below to the coil via a rigid, replaceable air screw, smoothly, and without annoying airflow noise. Four side air inlets ensure that the coil always receives optimal airflow, regardless of its position. The RBA can be completely removed from the bottom and screwed directly onto any 510 device – ideal for stable coil winding and annealing without additional adapters.

Condensation reduction
Another focus of the design specification was on reducing condensation in the mod. Even though this cannot be completely avoided due to the nature of a Boro system, the design of the Gaia Boro RBA supports a significant improvement, especially in combination with the new Dicodes Boro Mod, which features a larger air vent in the front plate.

Improved vape experience
The chimney is designed so that the mod adapters don't rotate or lift it. For an even better vaping experience, Smokerstore have developed their own drip tip adapters, suitable for both the Dicodes Boro Mod and the Billet Box. These are available in raised versions with the familiar Taifun knurling and recessed versions, either with a classic 510 connection or specifically for the Taifun Boreas System. The Boreas Chopsticks create a continuous, gap-free 3.5 mm channel all the way to the coil – a significant improvement in terms of taste and performance.

Customisation options
The Taifun Gaia Boro RBA is delivered with a spherical inner bell, which promises a smooth draw and intense flavour. However, SmokerStore's tests demonstrated that flavour can vary significantly depending on the liquid, so an alternative conical bell is available separately for those who want to customise their vape experience even further. Try both and see which you prefer.
The Gaia platform also delivers flexibility when it comes to mouthpiece options with the availability of six different drip tip adapters, suitable for either the Dicodes Boro Mod or the Billet Box. There's options for classic 510 drip tips as well as adapters for SmokerStore's proprietary Boreas system. The Boreas tip system ensures a continuous 3.5mm air channel all the way to the coil, providing a smoother draw. When using Boreas tips, only the Boreas Chopstick is required, not the whole Boreas driptip.

A Boro match made in heaven - SmokerStore & Dicodes
The Taifun Gaia was developed in parallel with the new Dicodes Boro Mod. Both teams worked hand in hand to perfectly coordinate airflow and temperature distribution. In the new Dicodes Boro Mod, the Gaia also benefits from the larger front opening, which reduces condensation buildup in the case. It is of course also compatible with the Billet Box and other Boro mods.

Future open market coil adapters
For fans of open-market coils, two coil adapters will also be available in the future: for Vaporesso GTX coils or the all-time favourite Aspire Nautilus coils. Both adapters will feature their own airflow control screw - a clever detail that allows for fine-tuning the setup.
