Taifun makes some of the best tanks in the market but if you are looking for a true MTL feeling then GTR is great. Very innovative juice and air flow and love the drip tip. Fully open can be like very restrictive DL. Build is very easy plenty of space for easy build and 4 post screws so whether the coil wound right to left or vice versa you can easily secure the coil.

Plenty of deck space, plenty of adjustable air, very crisp machining.

Downside is it takes a little while to get used to refilling. Overall.. easily the best £100+ attie I’ve bought for the last 3 years and believe me, I’ve bought a few.

Very impressed with the quality and performance of this tank . No dry hits and easy to live with . Excellent flavour profiles with NETs which is all i use . Wicks stay fresher longer than the FEVs and possibly Kayfuns . Easy to re wick /build on compared to Kayfun range .A bit tricky to get used to setting the Air/juice flow to start with but this is my first Taifun . Would recommend as a quality bit of kit for MTL and NETs . Thought i was going to struggle with the quirky drip tip to start with but it becomes really comfortable after a couple of tank fulls. Certainly purchase again .

I’ve been using this RTA for a couple weeks, and I’m honestly so thrilled with my purchase. It’s well built and extremely well thought out for an RTA of this nature. I’ve owned several mtl or extremely restricted direct lung setups over the years, and pretty much the gold standard of flavor for me was a Billet Box with a Steam Tuners insider RTA/Bridge. This nearly lives up to that level of flavor with a very modest build and only just getting the hang of this tank. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be on par with the Insiders, maybe even surpass it once it’s been dialed in a little more.

In terms of fit and finish, I’ve owned a Taifun GT4 and it seems like all my complaints I had with that one originally were addressed in this one. Namely being on the build post, there now exists a little lip to “catch” your wire so to speak and really adds to the absolute ease of this thing for setting it up and getting started.

The O rings could be slightly better, but they include a pack of spares and the spares kits are readily available so I’m not too concerned and would still rate this atomizer a 10/10. Solid purchase.

The price can be a little intimidating for some I think. But it’s important to remember that these things last a long time. I had my GT4 in daily rotation on a Dani 25 tube and the only piece on the entire setup that’s need to be replaced, was the nano “drop kit” I had installed from Steam Tuners.

This tank, specifically the 2ml tpd version, is a wonderful little topper for my new Dani micro. And as always, Keith and the staff at cremedevape are above and beyond in their customer service and shipping. Neatly packed and always nice to get a toffee :D Will definitely bring my business to these awesome folks as much as I can!

I was hesitant to buy this rta based on mixed reviews. I’m so glad I pulled the trigger and bought it. I own a lot of rtas and have been rebuilding for about 8 years.This is my favourite rta, hands down. I’ve had it for about 6 months and use it everyday in my rotation. I’ve never had a dry hit or experienced any leaking whatsoever. I refill without adjusting the juice flow control and haven’t had a single issue, I leave it fully open all the time.I plan on buying another one as soon as the Royal mail issues are cleared up.

For a little background, I’ve been vaping MTL for a very long time. No matter what other setups I have going, there is always something MTL in my arsenal. My first Kayfun Lite Plus I got, I thought this was it. Then, years later, Svoe Mesto released new MTL tanks, like the updated Lite, Lite plus and the Prime. I love them all, but I always thought that those were the end-all be-all pinnacle of MTL. That was, until I got my hands on one of these. After building it for the first time and playing with all the airflow settings, I can say that this is better. Kayfuns will always have a special place in my heart. But, this just takes it to another level I didn’t know existed. The machining is absolutely exquisite. Not so much as a scratch on it. The knurling on the outside is perfect. The airflow settings clicking into place really just felt like the icing on the cake. But the thing that surprised me most of all is the flavor. The flavor from this tank when wicked properly is just incredible. Juices that I’ve vaped for years have a new life to them in this tank. I’m tasting notes I didn’t pick up before. I thought long and hard about taking a star off for the price. But, after using it for the last month, if for whatever reason I lost this, I would gladly pull 130 pounds out of my pocket to get another one. I might get another one just to have. I will say, you will definitely need the extension kit if you’re using something under 35mg salts or like 6-12 freebase. Extra money aside, this is without question the greatest MTL tank I’ve ever used. Yes it’s pricey, but believe me, it’s worth every single cent.

High quality. The threads are really nice. All fits together well. Good flavour, easy to build and wick. Only snag I’ve had is the o-ring on the top cap falls out more times than not. If this had better o-rings it would be hard to beat.

I own many well known high end RTAs including FEV and this beats them all. Great flavour, quiet, doesn’t get hot, easy to fill, great airflow, easy to build and wick, no leaks I just wish I’d bought this years ago. Love it

I have tried over the years many MTL atomizers. But the Taifun GTR is by far the best in terms of build quality, ease by which to build and wick it and as to flavor is just awesome!

Everything you’d expect from a Taifun RTA. Build quality second to none and a great vaping experience. Perfectly smooth airflow with the ability to ‘dial it in’ to your style of vaping. Easy to build on deck producing amazing flavour! This RTA is now one of my daily’s used constantly.

Beautiful looking tank, and obviously, very well built. Stunning sitting atop the Taifun Box Mod. I tried a simple micro coil first, as I would in a Kayfun, but found that vapor production wasn’t as robust—so I started experimenting with Clapton coils. I’ve yet to find the perfect set up for this tank…but I am happy with the purchase. I’ve also found that wicking is a breeze on Taifun tanks—I’ve yet to encounter any issues using too much cotton, or too little cotton, and getting the wick in place is a simple, no fuss process (I like Kayfuns, but they can be a bit fussy and require more of a learning curve to build on/wick properly).

I’m always amazed at how quickly I receive my orders here in the states. If I order early morning here, the package leaves Heathrow Airport that night, and is delivered on the East Coast by the following afternoon.

Bought the GTR with the Taifun Box mod which is awesome, but the icing on this cake was adding the GTR RTA which is one of my favourites now for taste and also the quality as it is easily the best I have owned, everything is so easy about it and it works flawlessly. The airflow system is brilliant considering a second one now 5 stars easily !!!

The new Taifun GTR is a very well engineered MTL Rta,
It offers a large deck with 4 options to hold your single coil wire,
Wicking is simple and to fill the tank you simply turn the tank to close off the juice flow,
Air adjustment is done by an outer ring on the base of the Rta,
It offers a good choice of draws ranging from a tight MTL to a very very restricted direct lung,
Flavour production is up there among other high end rta’s,
As for looks this is small tank so it will look beautiful on any mod that you own.

The new Taifun GTR at first glance is a pretty looking RTA. It has top filling by simply turning the top cap to unlock it, closing the juice control is done by a simple turn of the tank section. The deck offers enough room to place a 3mm diameter Clapton which the legs of the coil is secured by grub screws. Building on the deck is a breeze as is the wicking.
This is a true MTL tank but a very restricted direct inhale is possible.
Overall this is a lovely looking RTA and would look a treat on anything you put it on, but be mindful it is 23mm in diameter.
