Vandy Vape Gaur-21 Dual 21700 200W Waterproof device

The Vandy Vape Gaur 200W device is a dual 21700 waterproof mod which is unexpectedly light for a dual 21700 device. Usually dual 21700 devices weigh so much they are not comfortable to use. The body and panels are made of a durable plastic material to achieve a much more comfortable weight in the hand. The design of this mod is by YouTube reviewer Suck My Mod in cooperation with Vandy Vape. The electronics are sealed in a waterproof housing so if you get the Gaur 21 dirty or wet you can simply take the batteries out and wash the device under the tap. Battery replacement is also simple with the slide out side panel. The Vandy Chip on this model is the latest version featuring a customisable colour screen and a mobile app to futher customise and update firmware.

This dual 21700 mod is pretty compact and the chip is good enough to read ohms correctly. Fires instant and battery management is perfect.

Probably the best box device under £100.

There's a reason for the long story ahead...

I started vaping about 12 or 13 years ago, when it was a niche market in UK. I got talking to some people on forums and they pointed me to Cloud 9 Vaping (as it was then). I started buying stuff and from the very first puff with my little old Joyetech Ego-C and some 'iced lemon' liquid, I was hooked...for a while. I bought a lot of stuff in a short time to build up my kit (and still have it all) but eventually quit smoking/vaping completely. Then things happened in my life and I started smoking again, so again I started vaping and bought a lot more stuff. Anyway, cut to the chase...

I decided very recently that I was not going to pay the price that hand-rolling tobacco now costs - vaping was again the obvious alternative.

I decided to spend twice my monthly smoking amount on vaping to build up yet another kit - and quit smoking again. That is where the Vandy Vape Gaur-21 comes in. I like box mods and it looked the best affordable one on Creme de Vape (my obvious choice to buy from, based on past experience).

I find the Gaur-21 to be easily adjustable, even though I have been out of touch for so long. Battery life (compared to past devices I've had) is phenomenal - more adjustments than I'll ever use. For the first week, I used some old 18650 batteries in the battery adjuster things that come with the device and they were good. Now that I have 21700's, it is unbelievable, even using high power atomisers; it just goes on forever. It looks and feels a bit chunky and clunky but I like that - the solid construction (I'm a carpenter, so I like things to feel 'built'). Would I recommend it? Absolutely - I'm waiting to buy a black model when it comes back in stock...!

This is the lightest mod I own, I actually own 5 they're that good. The battery life is the best (longest lasting) of all the mods I have. I wish it was my name on the bottom it's that good.
